Who Does Our Program Help?

Fully Equipt was designed for one purpose – to make our participants better people, individually and collectively. While we believe our message and methodology is applicable to all walks of life, we chose to start by focusing on the following fields within the realm of employment, education and athletics.

Ballistic Urgent Response Survival Training

B.U.R.S.T. Defined – A systematic combination of high intensity physical fitness and mental strength training over a short duration using exercises and drills that require inner focus.

B.U.R.S.T. Explained – This specialized training format increases all areas of physical and mental fitness and improves memory retention, focus, and attention to detail enabling you to calm your mind while chaos surrounds you.

Groups & Organizations

For us, “Groups & Organizations” covers the spectrum that includes academic, community, not-for-profit and professional groups and organizations.

Every group and organization needs to work together to achieve success. Yet that success often relies upon smaller (or compartmentalized) success. Therefore, using our B.U.R.S.T. methodology, we train you to be a better person and a better teammate. That way you can further the goal of your high school, tech school, college, university, professional, community, company and not-for-profit group or organization. In turn, your group and organization can improve operations and impact the intended audience, or even society as a whole.

High School: Student Government, Peer Leaders, Campus/School Clubs, Honor Societies, Alumni Organizations, Orientation Committees, Admissions/Recruitment Organizations, Professional Organizations (Union or other Retreats for Board, Administrators or Teachers)

Technical School, College & University: Student Government, Leadership Organizations, Greek Life, Campus Clubs, Honor Societies, Alumni Organizations, Orientation Committees, Admissions/Recruitment Organizations, Professional Organizations (Grad Students and even Faculty or Staff Groups)

Professional Clubs & Organizations: Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Kiwanis, and Business & Professional Women’s Club, or a club/organization that brings together people with a common degree, job or career

Community Clubs & Organizations: Food Bank, Humane/Rescue Society, Community/Neighborhood Watch, and another other club/organization focused on improving or supporting those within a geographic region

Companies: Any company, corporation or business, including its internal teams, committees and groups. (Ex. Fortune 500, Fortune 100 or large business, mid-size or small [mom and pop] company)

Not-for-Profit: Any not-for-profit or non-profit group or organization, including its internal teams, committees or groups (Ex. Red Cross, Salvation Army, regional and local charities)

Law Enforcement, Security, and Corrections

Look at “About Us” and you’ll see that the co-founders and coaches of Fully Equipt have ties to law enforcement. Work with us and you’ll quickly understand that while we push you to perform, it’s out of respect for what you do on a daily basis to uphold the law and provide security.

Simply put, we need to keep you on the top of your game so you can keep yourself and us safe. That’s why we’ve taken the time to adapt our B.U.R.S.T. methodology in a manner that makes sense. It makes you evaluate and operate in short intervals. Intervals that mirror or mimic the time span of your average encounter or altercation. After all, why train for a marathon when all you do is sprint?

That said, we take pride in training the following groups:

Local and State Law Enforcement Agencies: Municipal (town, city, regional), county and state law enforcement groups and organizations such as police departments, sheriff’s offices, transit authority officers, school district officers, airport police, college and university campus police, highway patrol, state troopers and police, including their internal teams, committees and groups

Federal Law Enforcement Agencies: Various agencies or organizational units that prevent, detect and investigate crimes at the federal level such as Secret Service, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms (ATF), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and even the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and its air marshals, including its internal teams, committees and groups

Correctional Officers: State and federal correctional officers that manage general population and the criminally insane at various security levels, including their internal teams, committees and groups

Private Security Groups and Companies: Any group or company (large, mid-size or small) that provides fee-based security services to a third-party, including its internal teams, committees and groups

Athletes & Teams

Athletes & Teams. Sounds redundant? To us, it’s not.

Athletes may be part of a formal or informal team. And teams may consist of athletes. Yet each is not exclusive of the other. Nor is our definition of each term – Athletes and Teams limited to those that require physical exertion in the traditional sense.

Sure, the athletes typically embodied on the face of cereal boxes are those found on television competing in high school, college or professional sports. Yet there have always been other competitors out there flexing their mental muscle and everting less physical strength. Remember Bobby Fischer? Probably couldn’t bench press that much. He chess game, however, kept more folks “in check” than most of us would ever imagine. There are also athletes that train for trivia, mock trial, role playing and even video game competitions.

What’s our point? If you’re an individual (physical or mental) athlete, or part of a team that competes, we can help. Our B.U.R.S.T. methodology’s tailored to improve mental strength, which both physical and mental athletes need. You’ll also learn to focus. Pay attention to detail. And function independently and as a team, even if your ultimate competition requires you to operate on your own.

People look at the military and think it’s limited to those actively serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard. That’s the furthest thing from the truth. We also have the Reserves, National Guard, cadets, the enlisted, recruits, and ROTC. Then there are the families that live through the sacrifices of our military members on a daily basis, providing support in various ways.

While we at Fully Equipt have not served in the military and, therefore, cannot truly understand what many of you give up for us – the civilians, we do believe our methodology will benefit the lives of all participants. All participants, including the incoming servicemen and women, those actively serving and others transitioning back to civilian life, including their respective families.

To help us better serve you, we’ve created four major categories and focused our B.U.R.S.T. program according to your position:

Incoming (Those training or preparing to train for duty in some capacity): ROTC, the enlisted, recruits and cadets, including their internal teams, committees and groups

Active: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Reserves, and National Guard, including their internal teams, committees and groups

Transitioning: Any member of the military transitioning out of a role within the military and back into civilian life because of planned retirement, injury or illness, including any groups or organizations designed to assist in reentry into civilian life

Family: Any significant other, spouse, partner, parent, child, immediate or extended family member of an incoming, active or transitioning military serviceman or woman, including any groups or organizations that help military families with mental, physical, emotional or even financial challenges associated with each respective category or service to our country
